“This is a saying that my Dad used to repeat to my daughter Emma every time he left after visiting her when she was in hospital and rehab, as motivation to keep on recovering. He even continued to say it every time he saw her after she left hospital. She had it tattooed on her wrist a few years ago. When he suffered a stroke two years ago, she would say it back to him—and so did I—to remind him to keep positive. After he died I had it tattooed on my wrist too to remind me of him daily.” – Kim, mother of a survivor of stroke
